Tree Pruning
Crown reduction, dead-wood removal, canopy thinning and structural pruning to AS 4373, with species timing considered.
Project Case Study
Two split and leaning stems were removed in a tight Inner West backyard while the sound third stem was retained and pruned.

Project notes
A multi-trunk eucalyptus in an Inner West backyard had split at the union and was leaning toward a neighbour’s roofline. Two of the three trunks needed urgent removal; the third was sound and could be retained with weight reduction.
The climber set two lines above the upper union, ascended with spurs, and reduced the targets from the top. Ground crew chipped the brush as it fell and cut the trunk rounds into loader-manageable sections. The retained trunk got a crown thin to reduce leverage on the union.
The split at the union and lean towards the roofline drove the urgent scope. If you notice a fresh split or movement in a multi-trunk tree, keep people clear and arrange an on-site assessment.
