Tree Pruning
Crown reduction, dead-wood removal, canopy thinning and structural pruning to AS 4373, with species timing considered.
Project Case Study
Climbing and rigging kept palm fronds and trunk sections away from a neighbouring carport and established gardens.

Project notes
A pair of tall palms in a North Shore backyard had grown beyond the safe access height for a ladder — fronds were dropping onto the neighbouring carport and the customer wanted them gone without damage to the surrounding gardens. We climbed the trunks with spurs and secured fronds with rope before cutting, lowering each cleanly to the lawn.
Once the crown was off, we sectionally dismantled the trunk in short rounds. Palm wood is dense and wet — we chunked it into rounds the tip truck could take in one run and hauled it off-site for disposal. The stump was ground flush with the lawn the following morning.
The crown weight and fibrous trunk made controlled climbing and short sections the practical method here. It kept cut material away from the neighbouring carport and surrounding gardens.
