Dead Eucalyptus Sectional Removal

A dead eucalyptus on a Hills District property had lost its canopy to stress and was shedding large limbs over a neighbouring driveway. Dead gums are unpredictable — dried timber splits on the hinge and small-bore limbs break without warning — so we climbed the tree with two-rope redundancy and cut from the top down rather than notching the base.

The climber stripped the dead material section by section, rigging each cut to a lowering line so nothing hit the driveway or the side fence. Ground crew chipped the limbs as they came down and rotated out cut rounds with the compact loader.
